Last week, March 26 - 30, stronger demand was noted for cotton yarns in China’s domestic yarn markets. There was very brisk offtake of 32s and 40s combed cotton yarns in the Shengze and Jiangxing markets, while 40s combed cotton yarns were in demand in the Foushan, Guangdong markets. Hospital uniform manufacturers were heavy buyers. In Shandong, increased demand for poly yarns was noted. Cotton yarn prices held steady, while MMF yarn prices slightly firmed.
