In the first two months of 2007, the output of yarn of scaled (annual turnover more than 5 million RMB) amounted 2.6 million tons, increased 20.1% on a year to date basis. The output of fabric amounted to 6.43 billion meters, increased 11.3% year to date. Total output of garments reached 2.66 billion pieces and represented 18% increase year to date. Total output of chemical fiber reached 3.47 million tons, increasing by 16% year to date.
