It is introduced that influenced by EU & US restriction, Fujian textle &garment export registered a slow increasing, some restricted products even saw a declined export. For 2006, Fujian textile exported to EU reached 0.986 billion USD, up 6.81%, the one of ten restricted products totaled 0.103billion USD, down 15.37%; the textile export value for US totaled 0.564 billion USD, increased by 5.62%, the one of 22 categories of products reached 0.179 billion USD, down 10.95% .

On other side, due to US restriction, textile & garment enterprise is searching for new market actively. The increasing export to market outside EU & US promoted the development of Fujian textile & garment industry. For one year, Fujiang generated 4.179 billion USD export value of textile & garment to market outside EU & us, increased by 28.88%, the one exported to Hong Kong totaling 0.797 billion USD, increased by 52.58%, the one to Latin America 0.427 billion USD, increased by 30.93%; the one to Africa 0.407 billion USD, up by 3.93%; the one to Switzerland 0.288billion USD,up 75.42%.
