Shaoxing textile trade turnover exceeds 30 bn yuan in 2006

By the mid-December 2006, the trade volume of Asia's largest textiles market as well as piece goods distribution center, Zhejiang Shaoxing China Textile City market, recorded 30.01386 billion yuan in 2006, a new record high, breaking 30 billion yuan threshold, an increase of 9 percent over the previous year; of which, the turnover of China Textile City Qianqing Materials Market reached more than 19.6 billion, up 14 percent over the prior year.
