The latest statistics from General Administration of Customs shows that in November 2006 China’s cotton cloth exports 597 million meters, Central were up 7.25%, a year-on-year increase of 19.29%, and cotton imports 146 million meters, Central were up 12.22%, a year-on-year decrease of 3.23%. 

11 months ago, China’s total exports of cotton cloth is 5.642 billion meters, an increase of 14.35%. A total of 13.42 million meters of cotton were imported with a year-on-year decrease of 3.33%.
