The "Monthly report" from China Cotton Association last week shows that China cotton output reaches 6.5million tons, increased by over 14% than last year.
Until the end of October, the cotton has been picked thoroughly. New cotton began to surge into market, which presses the price of cotton. After the first ten days of October, cotton price is landing softly - the price of fine seed cotton stables at about 2.5Yuan-2.6Yuan while the price of Xinjiang seed cotton 2.3Yuan-2.4Yuan. Cotton peasants satisfy the warming sales conditions because high output offsets the loss brought by declined price.
Until October.30, 3.31million ton new cottons were purchased, increased by 29% than last year, especially Xinjiang where 1.08million ton cottons are purchased, up 8.5% than the same period of last year.
