Import Volume of Cotton Yarns has Raised back Greatly in August

According to the updated statistic data from customs head office, in August of 2006, the import volume of cotton yarns is 87,200 tons into China, which is increased 13,500 tons from the previous month, up 18.34% from last month, and is increased by 16,000 tons from the same period of last year, up 22.65% from last year; in the same month, the export volume of cotton yarns from China is 55,400 tons, which is up 11.20% from last month, and up 37.36% from last year.
From September 2005-August 2006, the cumulative import volume of cotton yarns is 910,400 tons, which is up 21.09% from last year; and the cumulative export volume of cotton yarns is 530,500 tons, which is up 23.09% from last year.
