Export of Textiles and Costumes from China in July has Steadily Increased

According to the latest statistic data from the Customs Head Office of China, in July 2006, the total export value of textiles and costumes from China is 13.559 billion US dollars, up 21.6% from last year. Among them, textiles (including textile yarns, fabrics and other textile products) have an export value of 4.083 billion US dollars, up 14.95% from last year; costumes (including costumes and accessories of dresses) have an export value of 9.475 billion US dollars, up 24.71% from last year.
During January ~July, 2006, the export value of textiles and costumes from China has cumulatively been 76.217 billion US dollars, up 23.92% from last year, among which, the value of export for textiles is accumulatively 27.052 billion US dollars, up 18.7% from last year; the export value of costumes is accumulatively 49.166 billion US dollars, up 27.1% from last year.
