Export amount of textile from China is increasing but the size of deliveries is not big.
Addressing the 87th China Woven Textile Trading meet in Shanghai, the Vice Chairman of China Textile Export & Import said the 2006 export position of Chinese textile was stable, however the post-quota trade friction would continue.
The export amount to US will keep rising by around 15 percent, and to Japan, around 5 percent.
On the other hand, US will launch an anti-dumping investigation on Chinese polyester short fibre; the involved amount is about $56 million.
This will affect many enterprises in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.
