China's Textile industry lacks in international brands

Chinese textile industry is dominated by international brands and dealers as they drain 80 percent of textile profit from the Mainland.

To cope with this situation, key local textile players have been advised to create their own brands of international level, under which they should market their products.

However, industry insiders state that China does not lack local brands, but is devoid of international trademarks. Chinese brands face the major obstacles of product quality and smooth sales channels.
