According to Nanjing customs, the growth of Jiangsu textiles export has slowed. Through Jan. to Apr., the total textile export in the province was US$5.9 billion, reflecting a 18.2% growth year on year, with the increasing rate down 6.6% year on year.

According to Xinhua Daily, in Jan.-April, the textiles export from Jiangsu to Japan, EU and US was US$ 1.55 billion, 880 million, 840 million respectively.
