Cinte Techtextil China will return to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 19 – 21 October 2010. This specialised trading platform is the only one of its kind in the emerging market – China to target 12 important application areas for technical textiles and nonwoven products. In the last edition held in 2008, over 12,750 buyers from 47 countries and regions came to source from 301 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions.
Recording a GDP of 8.7% in 2009, China’s economy is developing at a healthy pace. Also flourishing is the country’s technical textiles and nonwovens industry, which was up 27.08% in the first 11 months of 2009. The net worth of nonwovens rose 7.7% from 2008, and was valued at RMB 16.4 billion.
Having seen the positive business signs in China, suppliers from the major technical textiles and nonwovens producing countries are planning to join the fair to reach out to potential buyers in this dynamic market. Among them are suppliers from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal, who will form into country pavilions to highlight their expertise.
"We think China and the world are huge and prosperous markets for felting needles and non-woven. By joining the fair, we expect to meet potential and existing customers to promote our products," said Ms Brooke Wang from individual exhibitor, Yantex (Yantai) Precision Textile Accessories.
Not only a good opportunity to meet customers, Cinte Techtextil China is also an excellent platform for suppliers to present their latest innovations and technologies.
"The show is an ideal platform for us to demonstrate our ability to work proactively within markets, in the creation of new and innovative absorbent solutions. In 2008, the show helped promote TAL’s extensive industry experience to the Asian market.Hopefully TAL can build on this success in 2010," said Mr David Hill, Business Development Manager for TAL, UK.
Cinte Techtextil China 2010 is organised by Messe Frankfurt(HK)Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA).
