Next year’s bidding for textile quota will be adjusted only within the level of technique, and the former principle of bidding will remain the same, according to Textile & Garment Chamber of Commerce in the 99th session of the Canton Fair. The Chamber also gave a caution to Chinese enterprises that EU is likely to impose anti-dumping duties on another 8 catalogs of products from China.
Jiangzhe, the vice-chairman of Textile & Garment Chamber of Commerce said the proportion and principle of next year’s bidding for textile quota basically will not change, and the proportion of 100% will certainly not come true while the bidding is going to be adjusted only within the level of technique which are conducive to maintaining the stability and continuity of the development of textile industry.
