According to statistics by National Bureau of Statistics of China, the output of the different kinds of fabrics and yarns made in China in Jan. to March , 2006 was 9.2 billion meter and 3.44 million ton and up 14.73％ and  20.67％ year-on-year separately.

In which, the cotton fabrics produced in China in the first quarter 2006 was 4.92 billion meter, up 20.14％ year-on-year.
