German pavilion to demonstrate variety of technologies at TTNA

Techtextil North America (TTNA)’s German pavilion will exhibit a variety of technologies demonstrating the expertise and creativity that make the country Europe’s greatest consumer of technical textiles.
The pavilion’s 29 exhibitors will feature fibers, fabrics and machinery serving the automotive, personal protection, sport and leisure, home textile, composite and nonwoven markets, among others.
The German pavilion joins TTNA’s eight other international pavilions at North America’s premier trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, being held April 1-3, 2008, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, GA. The other international pavilions include Canada, China, France, Italy (two pavilions – textiles and machinery), Portugal, Taiwan and Turkey.

DiloGroup:
The DiloGroup will feature its machinery and technologies for nonwovens with technical applications. Highlighted in their booth will be HyperLine, the new high-performance production line including VentoFeed, DeltaCard, HyperLayer and Hyperpunch needling technology, as well as the new AlphaLine.
This cost-efficient production line is designed for medium throughput speeds up to 80 m/min. and represents a compact and economical solution for universal web forming and consolidation tasks. Its components are AlphaFeed, AlphaCard, Dilo-Layer and the Alpha model series of needle looms.
Dolan GmbH:
Dolan GmbH, a subsidiary of Lenzing Plastics GmbH and leading producer of acrylic specialty fibers, will feature DOLAN (for outdoor applications) and Dolanit (technical fibers) at TTNA.
• DOLAN: Used primarily in the production of outdoor fabrics, this spun-dyed acrylic fiber boasts color and weather fastness for applications such as awnings, boat covers, umbrellas, garden furniture and fabrics for convertible car tops.
• Dolanit: These high-tenacity acrylic specialty fibers offer customized solutions to meet demanding stability, resistance and service-life requirements. Their wide range of applications include hot gas filtrations, road construction, dry mortar and fiber cement.
Güth & Wolf GmbH:
Güth & Wolf GmbH, a manufacturer of woven narrow fabrics for textile tapes and webbings used in nearly all industrial sectors (automotive and load-securing industry, vulcanisation, sports and leisure, home textiles and many other categories), will exhibit its diverse product portfolio at this year’s TTNA.
The company’s tapes and webbings range from 3mm to 300mm in width and utilize high-tenacity yarns such as Vectran, Kevlar and Dyneema.
H. Stoll GmbH & Co. KG:
Stoll, a leading manufacturer of flat knitting machines, will feature machinery for technical and industrial use. The company will exhibit solutions and applications made of 2D and 3D knitted shapes and seamless textile products.
The primary areas of application include medical products, ready-to-use upholstery fabrics and support structures, wire fabrics and composite designs.
TTNA is the only trade show that assembles all vertical aspects of thetechnical textile industry from research and development, through raw materials and production processes and finally ending in conversion, further treatment and recycling.
