Cotton prices continued last week increasing on the international market, offering a clear confirmation of the upward trend which was observed for the past five weeks. Demand from China may siginificantly rise in the coming months, in addition, after domestic crop was finally absorbed by the end of April. Persisting drought in various cotton areas may add to the rebound in prices.
