Spun yarn prices were generally unchanged in the past two weeks in China, except for viscose yarns which further rose, in line with higher staple fiber prices. Cotton yarn prices could be depressed by a possible decrease in domestic cotton prices in the near term, while the decline in polyester fiber prices could now lead to lower polyester spun yarns.
