Garments made in Wenzhou are sold in about 130 countries across the world. Local manufactured apparels are dominating the market over 90 percent in places like Dubai and Spain.

In 2006, Wenzhou exported clothings worth US $673 million with a growth rate of 43.3 percent compared to 2002.

Statistics show that Wenzhou mainly exports middle and low grade women clothing, leisure and under garments of cheap prices and having good quality.
