It is reported that Vietnam's exports of apparel accessories reached $40 million in November 2006, officials of MOT informed.

For first 11 months 2006, Vietnam's exports of apparel accessories increased by 4.9 percent by generating revenue of $445 million. Vietnam’s MOT estimated $500 million worth of exports for 2006.

Most of the goods were exported to US with slight increase of 2.92 percent for first eleven months. Growth of exports was affected due to decrease of 12.78 percent and 6.88 percent in September and November respectively.

Similarly, exports to Japan also witnessed a declining of 9.1 percent by generating revenue of $38.75 million for the first ten months of 2006.
