China has registered a 70.7 billion-dollar surplus in its hometextile export to the global markets in the first ten months of the year, up by 14.3 per cent year-on-year, according to statistics of the General Administration of Customs.

The top three export markets are USA, EU and Japan.

In the past ten months, China exported hometetile to USA reached USD dollars 2.28 at an increasing rate of 22.2 percent compared to corresponding period last year, the official statistics showed, taking up 32.2 per cent in Chna's hometextile export in total. China's export to Japan and EU was 1.11 billion dollars respectively and 1.09 billion dollars respectively sharing 15.8 per cent and 15.4 per cent respectively in that period, but the export to Russia, the fourth export matket, was seen down by 31.6 per cent.

The satistics said that China's top export  of hometextile by province are Zhejiang, Shangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Guangdong whose total export was 1.5 billion dollars, up 27.8 per cent year-on-yrar taking up 80 per cent in its total export. In which,  Zhejiang was the top one whose export took up 21.2 per cent  in China's hometextile export, and the top second was Shangdong whose export was 1.43 billion dollars, up 14.9 per cent year-on-year taking up 20.3 per cent in the total export of hometextile. And the export from Jangsu increased faster up by 23.8 per cent year-on-year taking up 184.4 per cent in the total export.

In the past ten months, China imported hometextile reached 38.07 million dollars, up by 16.10 per cent year-on-year. The top import of hometextile in that period are from Japan, USA and Taiwan, China PRC, whose total import took up 47.3 per cent in its total import increasing by 11.4 per cent, 5.6 per cent and 60.3 per cent respectively.

The satistics said that the top import are Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Tianjin and Zhejiang provinces whose total import took up 86.8 per cent in its total import of hometextile In the past ten months,2006.
