Apparel industry gets new tracking functionality

Aria Systems for Apparel Software introduces a new functionality in Aria 4XP ERP. Whether you have to schedule product development milestones, track customer compliance requirements on a sales order or track sample approvals with a factory, you often have the challenge of managing multiple activities, deadlines and other information coming from a variety of sources.

The solution often lies in spreadsheets and email to track, update and communicate information. The process usually includes manual updates to spreadsheets and numerous email messages to get the needed updates from the various people involved.

Aria’s Project Monitor allows you to design the work-flow, configure all the various sources of information related to your project and easily share it and collaborate with all stakeholders.

You start by setting up the date sensitive activities that take place and the resources responsible for them, you also configure the notification and escalation mechanism.

You then create the sequencing and dependencies of the activities into work-flows.

Different Report Templates can be created for different people depending on the information each person needs to track, these Report Templates can contain information about Activities, Aria Data Fields and Special Custom Attributes.

An interactive Project Monitor can display all information for selected projects based on the selected Report Template. The information displayed can also be exported to MS Excel.
