China Customs manazine, sponsored by General Administration of Customs, released a recent survey report that although suffering from global financial crisis, the competitiveness of Chinese textile products are still obvious. The survey shows that the competitiveness evaluation index of Chinese textile industry is 102.83, ranking No. 1 over the world.

Based on the Customs data, the textile export in 2009 dropped 9% from that of 2008, but the decrease pace was still seven percentage points less than the average export decrese rate. Textile industry became the top one in the anti-risk industries. In the first 10 months, textile export were 62.62 billion USD, rising 29.4%; clothes export 105 billion USD, rising 19.5%.
