Five regional pavilions from China
Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China, will take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, from 18 — 21 March 2011. The four-day event, regarded by many as Southern China’s complete home trade fair, will feature 180 exhibitors from 6 countries and regions including China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Turkey, and for the first time, Italy. These suppliers will present their latest collections of bedding, wall and window textiles, floor coverings, sofas, leather and upholstery fabrics on 20,000 sqm of exhibition space.
The fair is held together with the China International Ceramics Exhibition, the China International Furniture Fair, the China International Outdoor and Leisure Fair and Homedecor & Housewares China. In 2010, these events attracted over 155,500 professional buyers, which included home textile related importers, exporters, wholesalers, retailers, contractors, manufacturers and designers.
Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China’s diverse pool of buyers draws new Italian exhibitor, Casa Valentia. “Given the growth rate of the Chinese economy, we expect our luxury range of curtains and roll-blinds will be of interest to the domestic importers, distributers, representative agents, furniture manufacturers and contract specialists attending the fair,” said Mr Maximilian Tomasoni, General Manager of Casa Valentia.
Suzutora, the internationally renowned home textile supplier from Japan, also wants to connect with domestic buyers at Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China. “Receiving thousands of local buyers, this is the perfect springboard to propel our business interests in China, especially in the southern parts of the country,” said company representative Mr Takuo Murata
