Center China International Exhibition Centre, a subsidiary of China International Exhibition Corporation (CIEC) under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), organizes and hosts international fairs, trade shows and foreign exhibitions in China, aiming at strengthening the economic and technological exchanges and cooperation and promoting economic development and prosperity between China and other countries. Being a member of Union des Foires Internatinales (UFI) and International Association for Exposition Management(IAEM), China International Exhibition Centre takes an active part in events held among the international exhibition circles and tries to make Chinese exhibition industry meet with international standard. Since the establishment in 1985, China International Exhibition Centre has hosted and organized about 350 international exhibitions, many of which enjoy good reputations in the world, for instance , China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT), China International Textile Machinery Exhibition (CITME) , etc.

At present, 50 exhibitions are listed on CIEC's schedule as regular events, most of them are held once every 2 years , only few ones are held once every year, 3 years or 4 years.
                       
China International Exhibition Centre owns a total indoor exhibiting space of 60,000 square meters, an outdoor space of 7,000 square meters, a parking lot of 10,000 square meters, a container-ground of 10,000 square meters and a Customs-bonded storage of 3,000 square meters. All the exhibition halls have ready access to electricity and power, water supply and drainage, telecommunications, heating and air-conditioning systems, which can fully meet the requirements of the exhibitions. A general service building offers Chinese and western restaurants, seminar and meeting rooms and lecture halls.The exhibition can easily get the services they need in this exhibition complex such as the Customs, transportation, booth construction, business tour, hotel accommodation and article renting. Located at the north-east corner of Beijing, China International Exhibition Centre is only 10 km away from the downtown, 5 km from the diplomatic area and 20 km from the airport, with highways leading in all directions and more than 20 hotels scattered in the surrounding areas. Exhibitors will really find CIEC pleasant and convenient.

The 10th China International Textile Machinery Exhibition (CITME 2006) will be held in Oct.2006 at  China International Exhibition Centre, Beijing.
