Pavilions and seminars help visitors get the most from the show
More than 1,100 apparel textile suppliers from around the world will be featured at Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics 2008, running 27 - 29 March 2008 at the China International Exhibition Centre, Beijing. The show is one of the most significant apparel textile trade events in northern China and has grown consistently in size and visitor numbers each year. The show now features 48,000 sqm of gross exhibition space.
Held this year at the convenient China International Exhibition Centre, the show brings together textile suppliers from 14 countries including 229 from outside Mainland China. International suppliers from Germany, Italy, Korea, Pakistan and Taiwan will be featured in special country/region pavilions, which group together suppliers from one area. The Italian Pavilion will include a special trend forecast display presented by the Italian Trade Commission and using fabric samples from suppliers at the show.
Other trend forecast events include an international trend forum for spring/summer 2009 by the Interstoff Asia Essential Directions trend committee and a forecast for China by Fabrics China. Visitors and suppliers at the show can benefit from a range of seminars on topics related to trends and industry news including legal issues surrounding copyright and trade.
Intertextile Beijing runs concurrent to Yarn Expo Spring 2008, a sourcing event in Beijing for apparel textile fibres and yarns, which will be held at the China World Trade Centre and connected by free shuttle bus. Intertextile Beijing is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and China Textile Information Centre. In 2007, more than 22,000 visitors attended from around the world.
